The WhatsApp Community for Music Artists: Singers & Producers
Quick Summary of the Article (TL;DR)
We created a WhatsApp community where artists, singers, producers, and labels can connect, collaborate, get feedback, and help make the music industry less lonely—starting online, with live events planned for the future.
English-Speaking Community: Join here
Spanish-Speaking Community: Join here
We have created the Community every singer, producer, artist and record label whishes to have!
And you be wondering, why?
Because we, the founders at escalium.io, found that a lot of people like and are using this platform on a daily basis.
We also saw the rapid growth this platform is having with more than 600 users in less than 2 months of launching.
So we thought...
Artists have one of the most lonely carreers on earth,.
They produce beats
Sing
Write their lyrics
And 90% of the time is purely by themselves, looking at a screen.
And there's a really strong connection (or coincidence) with that and the nexts statistics, take a look
More than 90% of artists gave up before having that song that finally takes off.
Before launching escalium, we took a look in to very important statistics inside this industry, because we knew something was off.
We found out that (just) Spotify alone has more than 13.000.000 Artists worlwide.
The sad thing about this number is that less than 70.000 made less than $10.000 in their whole carreer.
Which means that 0.54% made some money with music.
That's when we really opened our eyes and thought
"okay there is something we need to do here"
and no, it's not about launching better products or making our software better.
It's about making the music industry great again.
Think about the 1960s to 1990s.
Most of the artists were part of a band, which made making music way more funnier, better and also easier to make money due to the combination of different people focusing on a very specific instrument.
But that, slowly died.
Is it because of us, artists?
Or is it because of the indsutry changed?
Either way, there's something we want to change inside the industry, and it's not only making money with music (that obviously is the ultimate goal)
But to actually create meaning, and create the biggest artists community on Earth.
We start by making a group in whatsapp, today.
But if we see rapid growth, support, collaborations between artists, real connection inside this community
We might do something different that you will not see in the industry.
Create Live Events for Artists only.
Where you will be able to:
Talk to other artists in person.
Collaborate with artists.
Ask questions to succesful artists
Create music live on a studio.
And if you support us, we'll listen to your feedback and create more of what artists are looking for.
